Trainee Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Trainee Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. This role provides hands-on experience in the integration of mechanical, electrical, and control systems. As a trainee, you will work on real-world projects that push the boundaries of technology, contributing to the design, development, and testing of mechatronic systems.

Location: Lahore (Onsite)

Experience: Fresh Graduate

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design and development of mechanical components and systems using CAD software (e.g., Onshape, Fusion 360, SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
  • Perform engineering calculations and simulations to support design efforts
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to prototype, test, and validate designs, ensuring performance, safety, and compliance with specifications.
  • Conduct research on materials, manufacturing processes, and industry trends to improve product designs and performance.
  • Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations to communicate project progress and findings.
  • Support in troubleshooting and problem-solving tasks related to ongoing projects.

Requirements:

  • Recent graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical design principles and engineering fundamentals.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (Onshape, Fusion 360, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with prototyping or hands-on fabrication (3D printing, machining, etc.).
  • Familiarity with engineering analysis tools (FEA, CFD) is a plus. 
  • Basic understanding of materials science and manufacturing processes.
  • Knowledge of project management tools and methodologies.
