Reviews By Some Big Names at The Award Ceremony
The Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry (LCCI) plays an admirable role since it pledges to take the economic growth of Pakistan to the next level and therefore, it never fails to go hand-in-hand with the IT companies.
Dr. Arif Alvi, President of Pakistan, said that “the Information Technology sector is the most fundamental area of interest and focus for the government. Additionally, the government has reduced taxes for IT sectors so that firms can avoid all hindrances that might prevent them from flourishing and serving.
During the Prime Minister’s visit to China, Imran Khan asked Chinese officials to extend the collaborations with IT and other sectors for the perfect “win-win” position.
Following Chinese investment, he predicted, the IT sector would experience an incredible boom, and will surely become one of the top global technology organizations. As an example, Indonesia’s IT exports increased from $3 billion to $18 billion.
It should be noted that Pakistan has enormous human resources at a lower cost than other countries. Towards the end of his speech, he suggested all decision-makers, IT sectors, academicians, and government work together to bring change to the IT sector and the country.”
Some Words by LCCI President
“During his discussion of software development platforms, he stated that attaining a GDP growth rate of 5.4% (during 2020-2021) was a huge milestone; however, hurdles such as highs, lows, and steepness should always be considered. With the support of the government and sagacious economic policies, we have earned a record revenue of $30 billion for the first time in export history. He commented that the IT sector has played a vital role in the economic growth of the country.
Additionally, the zero tax policy and no restrictions on foreign exchange movements have made it possible for start-ups to earn and grow as well as increase the competitiveness of the IT sector.
He said that the World Bank reported that India, with over $150 billion in IT services exports, and Ireland, with more than $150 billion, lead the world in IT exports.
Pakistan is also looking forward to more growth with hope.”
