Backlink Specialist
We are seeking a results-driven Strategic Backlink Specialist who will play a key role in planning, executing, and managing high-quality backlink strategies. You will collaborate with SEO, content, and marketing teams to build authoritative link profiles that enhance search visibility, drive organic traffic, and support long-term business growth.
Requirements:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive link acquisition strategy aligned with business goals
- Lead our HARO programme
- Manage guest post campaigns from prospecting to placement
- Conduct monthly backlink audits using Ahrefs/SEMrush, identifying toxic links and opportunities
- Build and maintain media/partner relationships for sustained link earning
- Collaborate with the content team
- Implement link insertion campaigns in existing high-performing content
- Track and report on link-driven metrics: referral traffic, ranking improvements, domain authority growt
- Stay ahead of algorithm updates and adjust strategies proactively
- Experience with broken link building and competitive link gap analysis
- Basic HTML/CSS understanding for technical link opportunities
Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- 4-5 years hands-on experience with HARO, guest posting, link insertions
- Proficient with Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console
- Created and maintained outreach databases/tracking systems
- Exceptional Communication
