Business Development Executive
We seek a proactive and experienced Business Development Executive to manage our Upwork profile, generate leads, and convert opportunities into long-term clients. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of winning projects on Upwork and is comfortable handling everything from proposal writing to initial client communication.
Location: Lahore (Onsite)
Experience: 1 to 2 years
Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize our Upwork profile to maintain a strong and professional presence
- Search and identify relevant job postings based on our services and expertise
- Write compelling, customized proposals tailored to each job
- Handle initial communication with potential clients and qualify leads
- Schedule meetings or calls with qualified leads for our core team
- Maintain a tracking sheet of submitted proposals, responses, follow-ups, and outcomes
- Collaborate with the internal team to ensure accurate service descriptions and pricing
- Provide insights on trends and competition to improve our approach on Upwork
Qualifications:
- Prior experience managing Upwork accounts with a history of successful project wins
- Excellent English writing and communication skills
- Understanding of IT services (e.g., web/app development, remote staffing, or software services)
- Ability to work independently and consistently deliver results
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with other freelance platforms like Freelancer, Fiverr, Guru, or PeoplePerHour is a plus
- Basic understanding of CRMs like HubSpot or Trello for pipeline management
