Business Analyst

The Business Analyst will act as a bridge between end users and software development/testing teams. This role requires an individual with a deep understanding of business needs, and the ability to analyze requirements and translate them into actionable technical specifications. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient project workflows, stakeholder collaboration, and contribute to continuous system improvements.

Location: Lahore (Onsite)

Experience: 2 to 3 years

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Serve as a liaison between end users and software development/testing teams.

• Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of business needs and requirements while anticipating gaps and challenges.

• Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications in collaboration with development teams.

• Identify stakeholders and facilitate workshops to elicit and validate requirements.

• Review and analyze client operational procedures to identify best practices and recommend improvements.

• Develop key project documents, including requirements specifications, functional specifications, and design documents.

• Analyze requirements to identify gaps and discrepancies.

• Design wireframes and non-functional prototypes (NFPs) to illustrate application workflows.

• Develop and maintain project schedules, reporting progress and creating relevant project documentation.

• Collaborate closely with developers to ensure the successful implementation of requirements and provide guidance to testers during the QA process.

• Work closely with development teams and product owners throughout the project lifecycle.

• Define and validate the 'definition of done' during UAT sessions based on defined acceptance criteria.

• Perform impact analysis for evolving or changing business requirements.

• Develop and present product demos to provide clients with a clear look and feel of the solution.

• Stay updated on the latest IT advancements and process innovations to automate and modernize systems.

• Create comprehensive documentation outlining proposed changes, implementation steps, and system improvements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master's degree in the relevant field preferably CS/SE/IT

• 2 to 3 years of proven experience as a Business Analyst

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

• Proficiency in creating wireframes, prototypes, and technical documentation.

• Experience working closely with development, testing, and product teams.

• Excellent stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.

• Hands-on experience with requirement elicitation, gap analysis, and UAT.

• Familiarity with project management tools and reporting.

• Up-to-date knowledge of IT advancements and system modernization processes.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
