Procurement Executive

We are hiring a Procurement Executive responsible for managing procurement activities and ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. The role involves collaborating with vendors, maintaining supplier relationships, and supporting the supply chain process to meet business needs.

Experience: 2 to 3 Years

Location: Lahore

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate terms, and establish long-term relationships.
  • Maintain a database of approved suppliers, ensuring compliance with quality standards and company policies.
  • Conduct market research to source reliable suppliers with competitive pricing.
  • Prepare purchase orders based on approved requisitions.
  • Ensure timely procurement of goods and services as per company standards and budget.
  • Monitor order status, ensuring timely delivery and addressing any discrepancies or delays.
  • Analyze pricing trends and implement cost-saving measures.
  • Negotiate pricing and contracts with suppliers to ensure the best value for the company.
  • Monitor budgetary constraints and contribute to cost reduction initiatives.
  • Ensure that all procurement activities comply with company policies, local laws, and regulations (including relevant Pakistani or UAE laws if applicable).
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier agreements.
  • Prepare and review reports for the Procurement Manager on purchasing performance and supplier evaluation.
  • Work closely with inventory and warehouse teams to monitor stock levels and avoid over- or under-ordering.
  • Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure the smooth delivery of products.
  • Assess supplier performance in terms of quality, delivery, and cost.
  • Implement corrective actions for underperforming suppliers or explore new sourcing options.
  • Suggest and implement improvements in the procurement process to enhance efficiency.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and new procurement techniques.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with procurement software and ERP systems.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of relevant Pakistani or UAE procurement laws and regulations is preferred.
  • Experience in the merchandise management and material for event management in coordination with HR is an advantage.
