App Storage Optimization (ASO) Specialist

We are looking for an experienced and data-driven ASO Specialist to optimize our mobile games' visibility and performance across app stores. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of app store algorithms, ASO best practices, and user acquisition strategies.

Experience: 3 to 4 years

Location: Lahore (Onsite)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Holding a Bachelor’s degree in CS/SE/IT.
  • 3 to 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Conduct comprehensive keyword research, competitor analysis, and market trends to enhance the visibility of our games.
  • Optimize app titles, descriptions, keywords, screenshots, and other metadata to maximize organic downloads.
  • Develop and implement effective ASO strategies tailored for both Google Play and Apple App Store, keeping in mind regional and global trends.
  • Test and implement localized ASO strategies for key regions, with a special focus on Pakistan and surrounding markets.
  • Design and execute CPI (Cost Per Install) campaigns that target high-quality users, ensuring low churn rates and strong user retention.
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of paid user acquisition campaigns, aligning them with organic growth efforts.
  • Implement app localization strategies to ensure our games resonate with a diverse audience, particularly in Pakistan, South Asia, and MENA regions.
  • Adapt app descriptions, visuals, and content to fit local languages, cultural preferences, and market behaviors.
  • Develop strategies to improve app ratings and encourage user reviews, which in turn enhance store rankings and brand image.
  • Monitor user reviews and provide actionable feedback to improve user satisfaction and retention.
  • Plan, execute, and optimize CPI campaigns to ensure efficient spending while achieving high-quality downloads.
  • Analyze and report on app performance metrics such as organic traffic, conversion rates, installs, and engagement to drive continual improvements.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and game development teams to ensure alignment of ASO strategies with broader company goals.
  • Stay informed on app store algorithm changes, industry trends, and ASO best practices to maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in App Store Optimization, particularly for gaming apps.
  • Experience in the mobile gaming industry or a passion for mobile games.
  • Strong understanding of ASO best practices, tools (e.g., App Annie, Sensor Tower), and data-driven optimization techniques.
  • Experience with user acquisition strategies, especially CPI campaigns, and regional targeting expertise.
  • Familiarity with Google Play and Apple App Store algorithms and policies.
  • Ability to create and implement localization strategies for different markets.
  • Proficiency in market analysis and competitive research.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of mobile gaming trends, particularly in Pakistani and MENA markets, is a plus.
