Network System Engineer
We are looking for a Network & Systems Engineer to maintain, configure, and troubleshoot the organization’s network and IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain LAN, WAN, VPN, routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Monitor network performance, availability, and security.
- Troubleshoot network, system, and connectivity issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows/Linux servers and IT systems.
- Manage user accounts, access permissions, and network resources.
- Perform system backups, updates, and routine maintenance.
- Monitor and resolve hardware and software issues.
- Maintain network diagrams, system documentation, and technical records.
- Implement and maintain basic network security controls.
- Provide technical support to internal users.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in network/system administration or a related role.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, LAN/WAN, and network security.
- Hands-on experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and servers.
- Basic knowledge of Windows and Linux administration.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or relevant certification is a plus.
