Mechanical Design Engineer
We are seeking a talented Mechanical Design Engineer to join our robotics development team. The successful candidate will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to design, develop, and optimize mechanical components and systems for robotic applications. You will contribute to the full product lifecycle, from initial concept and CAD modeling to prototyping and testing, ensuring that designs meet project specifications and performance goals.
Location: Lahore (Onsite)
Experience: 1 to 2 Years
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop mechanical components and systems for robotic applications, ensuring alignment with project requirements and specifications.
- Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD software (e.g., Onshape, Fusion 360, SolidWorks, AutoCAD) to visualize robotic assemblies and mechanisms.
- Assist in building and testing prototypes of robotic systems, evaluating performance, and making iterative design improvements based on test results.
- Conduct simulations and analyses (e.g., Finite Element Analysis (FEA), kinematic analysis) to validate the reliability and functionality of robotic designs under various operating conditions.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of design processes, changes, and technical specifications, ensuring all project information is up-to-date and organized.
- Work closely with software, electrical, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical designs within robotic systems.
- Identify design challenges and propose innovative solutions to enhance the performance, efficiency, and manufacturability of robotic components.
- Participate in design reviews and contribute to ongoing improvements in design processes, tools, and methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in robotics or related fields.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Onshape, AutoCAD, or equivalent).
- Familiarity with robotics concepts, mechanisms, and control systems is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
